American space transport services company Space X has failed to land a rocket on an autonomous landing platform in the ocean for a second time.
According to the CNET, this attempt by Space X was much closer to being a success than their first try early this year.
In a video footage released by the company, shows the latest landing attempt is closer to being a success.
The first attempt to land its reusable Falcon 9 on its drone ship was made in early this year, but the rocket landed hard, tipped over and exploded on the platform.
In its second attempt another Falcon 9 successfully delivered an unmanned Dragon cargo spacecraft to the International Space Station successfully, also ended explosively, SpaceX has yet to be forthcoming with those images.
Elon Musk, CEO, SpaceX tweeted that Falcon landed fine, but basically landed off balance and fell over.
