A Subway employee in Columbus, Ohio, was fired after he posted a snap of himself, resting his penis on the restaurant's sandwich bread, on Instagram.
The news broke when the Huffington Post received several photos posted by two men, who work for the restaurant chain, on Twitter and Instagram.
In a number of images, the restaurant's signature bread is shaped into penises.
Cameron Boggs, one of the men, also admitted on the photo sharing website that at work, he froze his pee in a water bottle.
In one of the pics, which was posted by Boggs and later deleted, a man can be seen rubbing his genitalia on foot-long bread.
The image was posted on Instagram by the username 'weedpriest', along with a caption that reads, "My name is @ianjett and I will be your sandwich artist today".
During an interview with the publication, Ian Jett revealed that he actually did do the things seen in the pics, but he would never do that at work.
He insisted that it wasn't something he'd ever do at Subway and it was totally a joke.
In another photo, Boggs' shows a water bottle full of a yellow substance that he calls urine.
Both the guys were fired on Monday and a rep from Subway public relations released a statement, claiming that the isolated incident is not representative of Subway Sandwich Artists.
The spokesperson said that the actions are not tolerated and the franchisee took immediate action to terminate the two employees involved.
