External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj on Wednesday said she is in AIIMS because of her kidney failure, adding that presently she is on dialysis.
"Friends : This is to update you on my health. I am in AIIMS because of kidney failure. Presently, on dialysis.undergoing tests for a Kidney transplant. Lord Krishna will bless," Swaraj tweeted.
Swaraj was admitted to AIIMS on November 7 and is being monitored by a team of doctors.
She has been suffering from diabetes for almost 20 years.
The 64-year-old Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader was admitted to AIIMS in April also when she underwent treatment for pneumonia and other health issues.
