Youngsters in Sweden have reportedly initiated a new photo fad called the 'wefie', a collective term for clicking 'group selfies'.
The initiative is a part of a campaign by the Social Democratic Youth League (SSU) that aims at bringing a sense of "we" to the Swedish society.
The campaign focuses on the concept of friendship, community and solidarity and encourages young people to take wefies with friends, while one of its campaign pages reads "Sefies are so 2013", Cnet reported.
The SSU said that during the past 10 years, they had seen a shift from 'we' to 'me', an increasing egoism with clear effects.
Meanwhile, the youth league is seeking support from people to help them turn wefie into "Word of The Year 2014", irrespective of their political inclination.
