American automotive and energy storage company Tesla is all set to unveil its most anticipated range of the semi-trucks in September.
Tesla CEO Elon Musk took to twitter to announce the scheduled launch date, lauding the team working on it for their efforts.
"Tesla Semi truck unveil set for September. Team has done an amazing job. Seriously next level," he tweeted.
In a string of replies, Musk also revealed that the company plans to launch an electric pickup truck in 18 to 24 months from now, adding that Tesla's next generation Roadster will be convertible.

No information was revealed with regards to whether the semi-truck will be self driving or not.
Last August, the electric car maker said it expected to unveil a semi-truck and minibus in the next six to nine months and then enter production in less than five years, as reported by CNNMoney.
