Not only the 1984 game 'Tetris' is being brought to the big screen, but also is being made into three "big science-fiction" movies!
In an interview with Empire, the project's producer, Larry Kasanoff, said "That's correct and purely because the story we conceived is so big," the Entertainment Weekly reported.
"This isn't us splitting the last one of our eight movies in two to wring blood out of the stone. It's just a big story," he added.
Kasanoff, who produced Paul W.S. Anderson's 1995 Mortal Kombat movie, wouldn't reveal much about what that story might entail, but said, "I guarantee you it's not what you think."
"We want the story to be a surprise, but it's a big science-fiction movie," he said, adding "I came up with the idea as I was thinking about Tetris and the theme of creating order out of chaos.
