Three girls of Uri's Army Goodwill School, won medals for firing, drill, health and hygiene, field and battle craft in National Cadet Corps (NCC) camp organized at Nagrota from July 3 to July 11.
Army Goodwill School's student Rabia won three gold medals for drill, health and hygiene and cultural event.
Sonali from the same school won silver for firing and gold medal for field and battle craft and Samara won gold in firing.
This exposure and experience will be beneficial for the holistic development of the students and also help to empower the girl child.
The Army Goodwill School is affiliation with 1 Battalion NCC Srinagar (Junior Wing) on July 1 2017. Out of the 16 NCC cadets from the entire Kashmir Valley, five were from Army Goodwill School, Uri.
