Congress leaders, including party president Sonia Gandhi called on US President Barack Obama, who is on a three-day trip of India.
The meeting, which took place in the afternoon at the Maurya Sheraton Hotel here, was closed to the press.
According to reports, it is customary for a US president to meet the opposition leaders when visiting a foreign nation.
