Turkey has sought Pakistan's cooperation in fighting against the Kurdish guerrilla group PKK and the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS).

According to The Express Tribune, the request for Pakistan's support came during talks between Turkish leadership and Pakistan's Chief of Army Staff Gen Raheel Sharif.

Sharif wrapped up his three-day visit to Turkey's capital Ankara on Wednesday.

Turkey is concerned over threats to its territorial integrity after the United States started withdrawing the Patriot missile systems along its border with Syria this month.
