At least two personnel of the Balochistan Constabulary were killed and several injured on Tuesday when unknown assailants opened fire on their vehicle in the province's Mastung area.
According to the Dawn, the Balochistan Constabulary vehicle was on a routine patrol in Splanji area of Mastung district when the militants attacked them from nearby mountains.
In the attack, the vehicle was badly damaged. Rescue teams are shifting the injured to a hospital in Quetta.
Police, Levies and Frontier Corps personnel cordoned off the area as a probe into the incident went under way.
