At least two Haqqani network militants were killed on Wednesday in a US drone attack on a house in northwestern Pakistan.
According to a police officer and an intelligence official, two missiles hit a house and killed two militants in the village of Dapa Mamozai in the Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA).
The local media reports stated that the slain militants were identified as commander Ahsan Khorai and Nasir Mehsud.
On January 17, two suspected militants were killed in the day's second drone strike in Afghanistan near the border with Pakistan.
Since U.S. President Donald Trump has assumed office, there has been an increase in drone strikes inside Pakistan in the restive mountainous regions bordering Afghanistan.
