A minor girl was allegedly molested by her neighbour in Mohanlalganj village near Lucknow on Tuesday.
The incident took place when the neighbour of the minor girl allegedly entered the house when her parents were away.
The girl, who was alone at that time, was allegedly molested by the neighbour.
When her parents came back, the girl described her ordeal. They then reported the matter to the police.
The police later arrived at the girl's house and took her statement.
An FIR against the neighbour has been registered by the police.
The neighbour is absconding as of now.
