Usain Bolt has an interesting take on why, despite producing successful cricketers, India has not been able to produce any globally famous athletes

Speaking at a press conference here, 'Lightning' Bolt said, "What I feel is that it is all about the main sport of a country. India is all about cricket and more youngsters here want to play cricket. A lot may have the talent to be athletes but they won't find out because in their heads, they want to play cricket.

However, in Jamaica, everybody wants to run. I guess it's all about making a sport attractive to the younger generation and for them to actually want to compete.
