Vladimir Putin has denied plans of another marriage after confirming his separation from wife Lyudmila on Thursday.
His spokesman, Dmitry Peskov told Ekho Moskvy radio that reports about the 60-year-old politician's remarriage in the near future are gossip and that Putin will continue to dedicate his life to his duties as Russian president, the Guardian reported.
He added that Putin's schedule didn't allow him to link with family matters.
Putin's staff refused to give details on formal divorce date.
Putin and his wife of almost 30 years, Lyudmila, after watching the first act of a ballet in the Kremlin theatre on Thursday, announced that they would seek a civilized divorce.
