Vyapam scam: Preliminary inquiry registered into pharmacist's death
A preliminary inquiry was registered into the death of pharmacist Vijay Singh Patel by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).
The investigative agency has instituted the probe to determine if it was linked to the Vyapam scam.
Patel was earlier arrested by the STF, but was subsequently released on bail.
He was found dead in a lodge at Kanker in Chhattisgarh on April 28.
