Australian batsman David Warner has expressed his frustration at being shuffled up and down the batting order, saying that he wants some clarity in the order while he is playing.
Although Warner's suspension and his subsequent no-selection for the first two Ashes Tests was his fault given that he had punched England's Joe Root, however, when he returned to England after a successful stint with Australia A in South Africa, he was constantly shuffled up and down the batting order.
According to News.com.au, although Warner accepted that his form is not consistent as it should be, he however said that he was frustrated over the fact that he did not play cricket for almost a month during the ICC Champions Trophy and then was back in the squad batting in the sixth position and then again moved back up as an opener.
Stating that he wants some clarity in the batting order, Warner further said that he accepts that he needs to be more consistent given that he was dropped from the squad playing England in the ODIs and for the India tour, although he added that he hopes to put up his hand for selection for the return Ashes with good domestic performances.
