Australian opener David Warner admitted that he shouldn't have crossed the line during a verbal spat with Indian pace bowler Varun Aaron on the fourth day of the first Test in Adelaide Oval.

Warner believes that though he regrets his action, he used that confrontation as a motivation to score back to back hundreds in the match. He said that the world knew how he plays his cricket, crossing the line sometimes, adding that he had to try stop doing such things, the Daily Telegraph reported.

Warner further said that the spat got him into another contest, adding that he had to regroup and start again from there. Such things happen in cricket and one should try and learn to control such verbal spat from occurring again, he added.
