Australian all-rounder Shane Watson has said that he is aiming to find the right batting balance and has spoken to Michael Clarke for advice and getting back into the right position.
According to news.com.au, Watson revealed that Clarke brought back memories of Greg Chappel making sure that he was taking it back to the basics.
It was a seemingly unlikely alliance since former coach Mickey Arthur's revelations about the pair's tense relationship, the report said.
Watson said that Clarke had been one of the best players in the world for a couple of years and had been through different challenges throughout his Test career.
