West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Tuesday asserted that rumours are being spread in connection with dengue deaths.

Speaking to media in Mumbai Airport, the West Bengal Chief Minister said there is no need to panic.

On being asked if there have been 43 deaths from Dengue, she said, "That is not true, some rumours are going on. Please don't panic here. "

"In Bengal, 13 have died of dengue and in Maharashtra 695 died of swine flu," added Banerjee.

Earlier on Monday, Banerjee while attending a press conference in 'Nabanna', the secretariat of West Bengal denied the outbreak of dengue in the state.
