West Indies won the toss and opted to field in the third Test of the four-match series against India here at the Darren Sammy National Cricket Stadium on Tuesday.

A win in St. Lucia could hand India with a series win and the number one spot in ICC Test rankings.

The Caribbean side, on the other hand, will aim to bounce back in order to keep alive in the series.

India have made three changes in the Playing XI.

Cheteshwar Pujara, who had averaged 33 over his last eight innings, has been dropped and Rohit Sharma has been called in as his replacement.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar has replaced Umesh Yadav while Ravindra Jadeja has been brought in place of Amit Mishra.

In contrast, West Indies have made two changes in the squad. Leon Johnson and debutant Alzarri Joseph have got a nod in place of Rajendra Chandrika and Devendra Bishoo respectively.

India are currently leading the series 1-0 following their massive win by an innings and 92 runs against West Indies in the opening match. The second Test between two sides ended in a draw.

West Indies Playing XI: Kraigg Brathwaite, Leon Johnson, Darren Bravo, Marlon Samuels, Jermaine Blackwood, Roston Chase, Shane Dowrich (wk), Jason Holder (c), Miguel Cummins, Shannon Gabriel, Alzarri Joseph

India Playing XI: Lokesh Rahul, Shikhar Dhawan, Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli (c), Ajinkya Rahane, Ravichandran Ashwin, Wriddhiman Saha (wk), Ravindra Jadeja, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Mohammed Shami, Ishant Sharma.
