Real-life father and son Will and Jaden Smith play a father and son in their new flick 'After Earth'.
The 44-year-old actor said that his 14-year-old son's decision to act was all his own.
"It may seem like we have pushed our kids into the business, but that is absolutely insane," the star told New York magazine in advance of the movie's May 31 release.
He said that he would never, ever, push somebody to have their face on a poster that's going to be everywhere in the world, People magazine reported.
But despite costarring in films together, Jaden says he considers his relationship with his father to be "normal.
