WorkoLab launches India's first co-working space with research facility

WorkoLab unveiled its first co-working space in the heart of Gurgaon followed by one in Pusa Road, New Delhi on Monday. The company plans to launch 100+ centres in next three years across the globe.

Co-working spaces continue to experience a high growth trajectory in India and are expected to receive over USD 400 million in investment by 2018.

The segment is expected to grow by 50 percent in 2017, according to a recent study by JLL.

The space can be used for research, collaboration, networking and support, a space where we bring together a community of like-minded graduate students, entrepreneurs, startups, software developers along with relevant mentors into the same eco-system," said CEO and co-founder, WorkoLab, Yashraj Bhardwaj.

Started with an initial seed capital amount of Rs. three crore from Jasmit Singh Marwah, Marwah Group and Aman Maheshwari, Allen Career Institute, WorkoLab identified an existing gap in 'lack of coworking spaces and research hubs altogether at the same place'.

Spread over an area of 12,500 sq ft., WorkoLab offers a collaborative space coupled with research guidance by India's youngest scientific minds with an aim to infuse innovation into your start-up idea.

The company has an aggressive road map ahead with a rapid growth plan and expansion to other cities like Mumbai, Pune, Kota, Chandigarh, Hyderabad, and Jaipur by March 2018.

In the second phase, WorkoLab plans to take an international leap starting with Malaysia and Singapore and thereby launch 100+ centres in next three years across the globe.
