'The X Factor' finalist Fleur East has signed a big money record deal with Simon Cowell's label Syco.
The 26-year-old singer, who was beaten to show's crown by Ben Haenow, is now set to begin "hard work," and took to Twitter to confirm the news writing "It's official!!!," the Daily Star reported.
Even though East had wowed with her version of Bruno Mars and Mark Ronson's Uptown Funk, ahs had lost to Haenow in the grand finale, leaning fans in shock.
She quickly leveled the iTunes chart to claim the top spot post performing her cover on the show and prompted the original artists to bring forward the release date of the single.
Cowell had admitted that both the finalists were equally good and he wished he could split the prize between them and crown them both winners.
