Yogi Adityanath's biography by Pravin Kumar is now in Hindi

Biography of Uttar Pradesh (UP) Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is now available in Hindi.

'Yoddha Yogi: Yogi Adityanath Ki Jeevan Yatra', was released at a function organized at historic Central Hall of UP Vidhan Bhawan by Governor of Uttar Pradesh Ram Naik and Speaker H N Dikshit. The book is written by Pravin Kumar, Deputy Resident Editor, Times of India, Lucknow.

Speaking after releasing the book, Governor Ram Naik thanked the author for bringing a dispassionate and objective account of the life of Yogi Adityanath, without going for hero worship such books often turn into. On a lighter note, he also complained that though the book deals in detail about UP politics and recent elections but there is no mention of him in the book.

"After the Engish book, there was a great demand for a Hindi version from the readers of Uttar Pradesh, especially eastern UP - the Karmabhoomi of Yogi Adityanath. I am delighted that it has finally reached readers across India," said Author Pravin Kumar, a journalist with The Times of India, Lucknow for the past 20 years. The book has been translated by another journalist Prem Shankar Mishra.

The book highlights Yogi Adityanath's journey from a village in Uttrakhand to Gorakhnath temple (Gorakhpur), Parliament and finally becoming chief minister of Uttar Pradesh. The enthralling read takes you through his life before politics, his beliefs and the ways that eventually led to Yogi's political entry.

Yogi Adityanath has been the epicenter of many political debates, while the book showcases the rise of his political career; it also presents his different personality that people are unaware of. Speaker H N Dikshit praised the style of the writer which makes the book a great read. "When you read the book, it appears as if you are watching a film. The book reads like a thriller," he said.

Actor, director Satish Kaushik who was also present on the occasion, said that the book gives an edge-of-the-seat thrill. "I started and finished it one-go within a few hours," he said.
