Audi Q3 S on Roller Coaster ride; 125 booking in a single day

Yesterday, we reported that Audi Q3 S bagged 25 bookings in 25 minutes, i.e. one bookings per minute.  Now Audi has disclosed that the most affordable Audi has received an overwhelming response, and bagged 125 bookings in just a single day. The vehicle was launched at Rs. 24.99 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), the company has introduced an innovative online booking system for Q3 S, which helped Audi to achieve such a big number in a day.

The Audi Q3 S is a stripped down version of the compact crossover, and the company has removed few of the major features to achieve such pricing. The vehicle misses out on features such as the Quattro four-wheel drive system and Daytime running LED lamps. Under the hood, Audi Q3 S is powered by the same 2.0-litre diesel engine, but it is now de-tuned to develop 140bhp and 320Nm of top torque. The engine is mated to a six-speed manual transmission, which transmits power to the front wheels. The Q3 S reaches 100kmph from rest in 9.9 seconds, and has a fuel efficiency of 17.71kmpl (ARAI Certified).

The Audi Q3 S has single frame grille and has reinforced bumpers. It now gets some standard comfort features like cruise control, parking sensors, driver information system and voice dialogue system. The vehicle also comes equipped with some advanced safety features such as six airbags, electronic stabilization system, electromechanical parking brake and few others.
