Hyundai raining discounts up to Rs 70,000 in its Monsoon Splash Offer

Hyundai has been trying hard to bump up the sales of their cars in India, especially of the new facelifted Verna 4S Fluidic. This monsoon season, it looks like they have come up with a new strategy to lure in the customers by offering huge discounts of up to Rs 70,000 in their ‘Monsoon Splash Offer’.

Hyundai has been trying to capture the mid-size sedan segment in which it currently ranks 3rd with the Verna following the top selling Honda City and Maruti Suzuki Ciaz. By offering the discounts in a rather odd season, Hyundai hopes to get a good catch before the Diwali season kicks in.

The Korean automaker is offering discounts on its entire range except for the top selling i20 family. Other than the Xcent and the i20, the company has been struggling to maintain their dominance in the market. With this offer, they are hoping to find some stability as with only 1,620 units of the Verna sold, the company is at a fall of around 24 percent in the month-to-month sales chart.

The offer is valid only for the month of July.
