Jaguar At Indian Auto Expo 2016

Tata-owned British luxury carmaker, Jaguar, will be showcasing its latest cars at the Indian Auto Expo 2016. The XE, that has been pegged to compete against the likes of BMW 3-Series, Audi A4 and Mercedes-Benz C-Class, and will take the center stage. Then, there will be its other siblings like the XJ facelift, next gen XF and the all new F-Pace. Do visit the feline family’s bay at the arena, but before that here’s a brief lookout of the above-mentioned cars.

The XE

Falling in the luxury sedan category, the XE’s space-frame uses more than 70 percent of  aluminium. This makes it very lightweight, yet maintaining the increased body strength that plays a vital role in the car’s driving dynamics. In a recent crash test carried on the XE, it has been awarded the safest family car by EURO NCAP. Moreover, the exteriors are a typical Jaguar with ducked-down nose, mesh grille, aggressive headlamps and taillamp design. Likewise, the interiors are laced with loads of leather and done using top quality plastics as well as aluminum. Three power sources are expected to be offered as options, they may include one petrol and diesel with optimum performance and mileage, while a performance V6 petrol would deal with the enthusiasts.

The F-Pace

Jaguar’s first ever SUV will be showcased at the Expo Arena in Noida. It is all looking very promising, be it the neat incorporation of family design cues or the stance it carries. The vehicle till now has only made its appearance in some promo videos, pictures and the manufacturer’s website. It is expected to make it to the production by mid-2016 and the launch could take place later into the year.

Next Gen XF

The XF will be showcased with its latest facelift, that gets a redone front and rear along with all new interiors. The engines could be retained from the  current lineup with an increased level of refinement ,that will add up to the performance and mileage of the car.

Other Jaguar Cars

Apart from these, one can also look for the performance cars offered by the manufacturer. I believe, that Jaguar won’t be shy to show-off their performance cars. Like the F-Type R AWD or the XE-R or even something more out of the box like the C-X17. Forgive me, I am have my hopes too high.
