Land Rover Previews New Discovery Sports Interiors; Global unveiling on September 3! [Video Inside]

Land Rover will reveal the first product in the new Discovery family of SUV – Discovery Sports on 3rd of September; this global unveil is online while the new SUV will go on sale early next year. The Discovery Sport is based on the Discovery Vision concept that the company showcased earlier in April this year. Speaking about the Indian debut, expect it to take place soon after the UK debut. Previously, only camouflaged test mules depicted the three-row seating of the Discovery Sport's interior design. When launched, the Discovery Sport will replace the aging Freelander and will compete against the like of BMW X3, Audi Q5, etc.

Moreover, the short film that the Land Rover released gives a brief glimpse of the interiors of the upcoming mid-size SUV and also iterates the British quintessential SUV maker and the Virgin Galactic partnership. As the company is focusing on the 'versatility' of the SUV, the teaser images and video showcases the multiple settings of the 5+2 (2+3+2) seating arrangement of the SUV. The video also focuses on the full panoramic roof in action! And teases the new dashboard of the Discover Sport along with the latest infotainment system.

On previewing the new Discovery Sports interiors, Gerry McGovern, Design Director and Chief Creative Officer, Land Rover commented, "Versatility is a fundamental element of the Discovery family and with 5+2 seating, generous load space and configurable seating the new Discovery Sport truly deserves to wear the Discovery badge."
