New Entry level Nissan Micra XE Diesel variant launched at Rs 5.57 lakh

Japanese auto major Nissan that successfully launched the premium New Micra range in India in July has now rolled out a more affordable diesel variant of the car called the Micra XE at Rs 5.57 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The launch of the Micra XE diesel now takes the total number of variants to 12 in India, which means more options for buyers. The company has also updated the same on its official website and the features the new XE diesel carries. Like other variants, Micra XE too has been made available in a range of six colours: Olive Green (new), Turquoise Blue (new), Blade Silver, Storm White, Onyx Black and Brick Red.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Kenichiro Yomura, President of Nissan India Operations & MD & CEO, Nissan Motor India said, “The launch of new Micra range in July received an overwhelming response from our customers. I am confident that the New Micra diesel variant is a good value proposition and a desirable option for the Indian customers. We are keen to replicate the success of the existing variants with the diesel-powered XE variant of the New Micra.”

Adding the XE variant in diesel will further augment the volumes for this model due to its aggressive entry level price point.
