Renault India in order to boost sales of Duster and other car models, has introduced an exchange bonus besides other discount schemes. As seen in the last couple of months, the sales of Duster have taken a beating from the EcoSport and so to lure more buyers, the company is offering discount, exchange scheme and free insurance.

The hot compact SUV is been offered with an exchange benefit of Rs 25,000 on the diesel variant of both 85PS and 110PS while the petrol model attracts an exchange of Rs 15,000. Apart from this, the manufacturer is also offering free additional warranty for two years and free road side assistance for four years. We spoke to few dealers and they confirmed that this is a limited period offer and exchange bonus will depend upon the condition of the car. Moreover, Renault Pulse and Scala are offered with free insurance, free additional warranty for two years and free road side assistance for four years while the Koleos attracts two years of free warranty and four years of free road side assistance.

Renault India is looking very aggressive with its marketing campaign as the company is looking forward to expand its model lineup. We were the first one to confirm that the Renault will launch the 4X4 version of Duster at the end of 2014. Read More.

While in the month of March, the French automaker has launched the Adventure Edition of Duster and the facelift of Fluence. Adventure Edition of Duster featured smoked headlamps, bold front amour with built in headlamps, R16 Anthracite alloy wheels to mention a few. To keep up with the latest tech, touchscreen navigation was also added. In order to increase the safety of its passengers, the SUV comes equipped with ABS plus EBD with Dual Airbags. The engine remains same, as the SUV in-houses a powerful 110PS dCi engine coupled to six speed manual transmission.

In the saloon segment, the upgraded Fluence looks more elegant. The car now offers refreshing fluid design courtesy to new bumper, redesigned front grille and LED DRLs (Day Time Running Lights). Inside the cabin, this premium saloon features new infotainment system with satellite navigation, R-link infotainment module along with a 3D sound system with eight speakers. The updated version also features driver-aid technologies such as automatic headlamps and rain sensing wipers. Mechanically, the car carries either a 2.0-litre petrol engine or a 1.5 litre K9K diesel turbo engine. The petrol model churns a power of 135.1 bhp while the diesel turbo engine belts out a max power of 108.5bhp.
