Upcoming Renault Lodgy Finds its Space on Renault India's Website!

Renault says Lodgy ‘deliver best in segment performance’ - with 110 PS - 248 Nm Diesel, we don’t doubt that either

The Renault India debutant venture in the MPV segment - 2015 Lodgy goes online on the French automaker’s Indian website. Renault revealed Lodgy online last month while the cross-version of it - Lodgy Stepway was showcased recently at the 2015 Star Gild wards. Launch can be expected anytime soon. Adding on the Lodgy, undoubtedly the vehicle is getting the Renault’s 1.5-liter K9K dCi diesel that also powers almost every other car in Nissan-Renault’s stable in India. This said, since the French automaker is telling that Lodgy ‘deliver best in segment performance’, expect the 110PS iteration of the 1.5-liter dCi diesel propelling it. Most likely the 110PS will be powering the Lodgy Stepway while 85PS version will be mated to Lodgy. Similar to Duster, transmission will be 5-speed (85PS) and 6-speed (110PS) manual transmissions.

In terms of features, Lodgy will be similarly loaded like the Duster, expect it to get the Duster’s touch screen infotainment system with built-in navigation. Dimensionally, Lodgy features a wheelbase of 2810mm, largest in the segment which features cars like Toyota Innova, Honda Mobilio and Maruti Suzuki Ertiga.
