Balmer Lawrie Investments announced that as directed by Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas (MOP&NG) in its letter dated 16 April 2010 the constitution of the Board of Balmer Lawrie Investments (the Company) should have a Director (Finance) of Balmer Lawrie & Company (BL) as an Ex-officio Director of the Company.Prabal Basu, currently Chairman & Managing Director of BL was also holding additional charge of Director (Finance) of BL and hence he was also appointed as Non-Executive Director of the Company.
Recently Shyam Sundar Khuntia had been appointed as the Director (Finance) of BL. Accordingly, Prabal Basu has relinquished his post of Non-Executive Director and Chairman of the Board of the Company w.e.f. 29 March 2016 and S.S. Khuntia has been appointed as Non-executive Director on the Board of the Company with effect from 30 March 2016 vide resolution dated 29 March 2016 which were passed by circulation on 30 March 2016.
