BASF India standalone net profit declines 45.98% in the March 2017 quarter

Sales rise 10.74% to Rs 1272.29 crore

Net profit of BASF India declined 45.98% to Rs 42.55 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 78.76 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016. Sales rose 10.74% to Rs 1272.29 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 1148.86 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016.

For the full year,net loss reported to Rs 14.13 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against net loss of Rs 30.37 crore during the previous year ended March 2016. Sales rose 7.11% to Rs 5065.78 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 4729.66 crore during the previous year ended March 2016.
