From its 53 MW power plant
Gallantt Ispat has established a power plant having total capacity of 53 MW which includes 12.5 MW Power plant based on bio mass (Rice Husk) and this power was proposed to be sold to UPPCL and the rest to be captively utilized in Company unit.After completion of all the necessary formalities in this regard a power purchase agreement between Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation and the Company has been executed. Supply / sale of power under this power purchase agreement is scheduled to commence from the first week of November 2018.
