Coal India October production and offtake (provisional) figures

Coal India announced the production and offtake (provisional) performance of Coal India and its subsidiaries for month of October 2018 as under -

The company achieved coal production of 49.77 million tonnes in October 2018 compare to 46.15 million tonnes in October 2017, a growth of 7.8%. Offtake stood at 50 million tonnes in October 2018 compared to 48.28 million tonnes in October 2017, a growth of 3.6%.

For the period April - October 2018, coal production stood at 306.24 million tonnes while offtake was 340.81 million tonnes.
