Gitanjali Gems leads gainers in 'A' group

Jewellery retailer Gitanjali Gems jumped 8.70% to Rs 69.95. The stock topped the gainers in the BSE's 'A' group.
Lead acid batteries maker Amara Raja Batteries galloped 7.29% to Rs 577.40. The stock was second biggest gainer in 'A' group. The stock hit a record high of Rs 597 in intraday today, 18 August 2014.
State-owned trading firm MMTC spurted 6.69% to Rs 78.15. The stock was third biggest gainer in 'A' group.
FMCG company Britannia Industries climbed 6.51% to Rs 1,265.80. The stock was fourth biggest gainer in 'A' group. The stock hit a record high of Rs 1,270 in intraday today, 18 August 2014.
State-run copper miner Hindustan Copper rose 6.44% to Rs 90.85. The stock was fifth biggest gainer in 'A' group.
