Hong Kong Stocks rebound from two-day loss

The Hong Kong stock market closed up for the first time in three days on Wednesday, 25 October 2017, supported by an overnight rise in U.S. equities and as the China's ruling Communist Party revealed its new leadership line-up. Hong Kong's Hang Seng Index rose 0.53%, or 147.92 points, to close at 28,302.89. The Hang Seng China Enterprises Index, known as the H-shares index, gained 0.77% to 11,493.3. Daily turnover for Hong Kong's main board decreased 13% to HK$77.8 billion from Tuesday.
