Jayaswal Neco Industries provides operations update

For blast furnace at its steel division in Siltara, Raipur

Jayaswal Neco Industries announced that the Company's Blast Furnace at its Steel Plant Division, Siltara, Raipur has been facing technical issues for the last one month.

Consequently the Company is planning refractory gunning of its Blast Furnace from 23 May 2016 and its Blast Furnace is expected to be shut down. The operation shall be affected for about eight to ten days.

It would affect its Pig Iron production, Power generation and availability of Hot metal for Steel making during the relevant period.
