Kokuyo Camlin informed that the company has partially resumed manufacturing operations at its plant located at Tarapur, Maharashtra.
The operations have been resumed with restricted movement of manpower as prescribed, while taking all the necessary steps for ensuring complete sanitization and social distancing norms, the company said in a regulatory filing made after market hours on Thursday.
Shares of Kokuyo Camlin are currently trading 7.90% lower at Rs 51.85. It has traded in the range of Rs 51.80 and Rs 57.95 so far during the day. On the BSE, 1,460 shares were traded in the counter so far compared with average daily volumes of 7,468 shares in the past two weeks.
The stock hit a 52-week high of Rs 93 on 23 January 2020. The stock hit a 52-week low of Rs 36.5 on 24 March 2020.
Meanwhile, the S&P BSE Sensex was up 574 points or 1.83% to 32,017.64.
Kokuyo Camlin, formerly known as Camlin, is a stationery company. Kokuyo of Japan holds 74.44% stake in Kokuyo Camlin. Camlin manufactures art materials, marker pens, fountain pens, inks, pencils, and other stationery products.
