Nifty April 2013 futures were at 5591.15, at a discount of 2.85 points compared to spot closing of 5594. Turnover on NSE's futures & options (F&O) segment rose to Rs 155179.02 crore from Rs 144660.84 crore on Wednesday, 10 April 2013.
Infosys April 2013 futures were at 2917.60, near spot closing of 2915.
State Bank of India (SBI) April 2013 futures were at 2041, at a discount compared to spot closing of 2045.
ICICI Bank April 2013 futures were at 1040, near spot closing of 1039.
In the spot market, the 50-unit CNX Nifty advanced 35.30 points or 0.64% to settle at 5,594, its highest closing level since 3 April 2013.
The April 2013 derivatives contracts expire on 25 April 2013.
