Turnover drops
Nifty December 2014 futures were at 8572, a premium of 33.70 points over spot closing of 8538.30. Turnover on NSE's futures & options (F&O) segment declined to Rs 128609.87 crore from Rs 158907.90 crore on Thursday, 4 December 2014.
State Bank of India December 2014 futures were at 318.80, at a premium over spot closing of 316.50.
Axis Bank December 2014 futures were at 500, at a premium over spot closing of 496.50.
ICICI Bank December 2014 futures were at 359.95, near spot closing of 359.20.
In the spot market, the 50-unit CNX Nifty fell 26.10 points or 0.3% to settle at 8,538.30, its lowest closing level since 3 December 2014.
The December 2014 derivatives contract expire on 24 December 2014.
