Turnover rises
Nifty December 2014 futures were at 8346.95, a premium of 54.05 points over spot closing of 8292.90. Turnover on NSE's futures & options (F&O) segment increased to Rs 283718.59 crore from Rs 203089.47 crore on Wednesday, 10 December 2014.
State Bank of India December 2014 futures were at 316.30, at a premium over spot closing of 313.80.
Larsen & Toubro December 2014 futures were at 1555.20, at a premium over spot closing of 1550.
Reliance Industries December 2014 futures were at 914.20, at a premium over spot closing of 906.
In the spot market, the 50-unit CNX Nifty lost 62.75 points or 0.75% to settle at 8,292.90, its lowest closing level since 30 October 2014.
The December 2014 derivatives contract expire on 24 December 2014.
