Nifty November futures trade at premium

Turnover on NSE's F&O segment rises

The Nifty November 2017 futures traded at 10,163, a premium of 44.95 points over Nifty's spot closing of 10,118.05 in the cash market.

Turnover on the National Stock Exchange's futures & options (F&O) segment rose to Rs 6.96 lakh crore, lower compared with the turnover of Rs 4.99 lakh crore registered in the previous session.

In the cash market, the Nifty 50 index fell 68.55 points or 0.67% to settle at 10,118.05.

State Bank of India (SBI), Bank of Baroda, Tata Global Beverages, Reliance Capital and Jet Airways were the top traded individual stock futures contracts in F&O segment of NSE. SBI November 2017 futures traded at 327.80, at a premium compared with spot closing of 326.10. Bank of Baroda November 2017 futures traded at 175.65, at a premium compared with spot closing of 175.05.

Tata Global Beverages November 2017 futures traded at 252.30, at a premium over spot closing of 252.15. Reliance Capital November 2017 futures traded at 422, same compared with spot closing of 422. Jet Airways November 2017 futures traded at 691.05, at a premium over spot closing of 687.55.

The November 2017 F&O contracts expire on 30 November 2017.
