Nifty October 2014 futures at premium

Turnover rises

Nifty October 2014 futures were at 7,947.50, a premium of 19.75 points over spot closing of 7,927.75. Turnover on NSE's futures & options (F&O) segment increased to Rs 296531.74 crore from Rs 232798.30 crore on Monday, 20 October 2014.

Punjab National Bank October 2014 futures were at 927, close to the spot closing of 927.80.

HDFC Bank October 2014 futures were at 900.40, premium to its spot closing of 896.75.

Infosys October 2014 futures were at 3,788.50, at a premium over spot closing of 3,775.

In the spot market, the 50-unit CNX Nifty rose 48.35 points or 0.61% to settle at 7,927.75, its highest closing since 9 October 2014.

The October 2014 derivatives contracts expire on 30 October 2014.
