Tata Power hits 52-week high

Tata Power Company was up 0.58% to Rs 95.80 at 9:28 IST on BSE after the company said its subsidiary has commissioned a rooftop project in India.

The announcement was made after market hours yesterday, 27 November 2017.

Meanwhile, the S&P BSE Sensex was down 25.61 points or 0.08% at 33,698.83.

On the BSE, 1.44 lakh shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 6.12 lakh shares in the past one quarter. The stock had hit a high of Rs 96.50 so far during the day, which is a 52-week high. The stock hit a low of Rs 95.70 so far during the day. The stock had hit a 52-week low of Rs 69.40 on 25 November 2016.

Tata Power Company announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Tata Power Solar Systems commissioned a rooftop project in India - a solar carport on the rooftop of the sprawling 70,000 square meter Unity One mall, a Unity Group endeavor in Rohini. The unique rooftop carport is estimated to set off 438 Tons of carbon emission annually. Tata Power Solar won the bid in the open tender process fielded by Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) for multi-level car parking.

On a consolidated basis, Tata Power Company's net profit fell 43.6% to Rs 268.50 crore on 6.2% growth in net sales to Rs 7657.30 crore in Q2 September 2017 over Q2 September 2016.
