Nifty June 2017 futures trade at premium

The Nifty June 2017 futures traded at 9675.85, a premium of 22.35 points compared with the Nifty's closing of 9653.50 in the cash market.

Turnover on the National Stock Exchange's futures & options (F&O) segment declined to Rs 3.34 lakh crore from turnover of Rs 4.29 lakh crore registered on Monday, 19 June 2017.

In the cash market, the Nifty 50 index lost 4.05 points or 0.04% to settle at 9,653.50, its lowest closing level since 16 June 2017.

Tata Steel, Tata Motors, State Bank of India (SBI), ICICI Bank and Maruti Suzuki India (MSIL) were the top traded individual stock futures contracts in F&O segment of NSE. Tata Steel June 2017 futures traded at 523.20, at a premium over spot closing of 521.55. Tata Motors June 2017 futures traded at 467.35, near spot closing of 466.50.

SBI June 2017 futures traded at 290.25, near spot closing of 290.20. ICICI Bank June 2017 futures traded at 292.80, near spot closing of 292.30. MSIL June 2017 futures traded at 7242, at a premium over spot closing of 7207.05.

The June 2017 F&O contracts will expire on Thursday, 29 June 2017.
