V-Mart Retail standalone net profit rises 941.67% in the March 2017 quarter

Sales rise 41.52% to Rs 251.82 crore

Net profit of V-Mart Retail rose 941.67% to Rs 5.00 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 0.48 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016. Sales rose 41.52% to Rs 251.82 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 177.94 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016.

For the full year,net profit rose 43.07% to Rs 39.53 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 27.63 crore during the previous year ended March 2016. Sales rose 23.78% to Rs 1001.73 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 809.25 crore during the previous year ended March 2016.
