Vardhman Textiles standalone net profit declines 16.31% in the March 2017 quarter

Sales rise 6.86% to Rs 1513.46 crore

Net profit of Vardhman Textiles declined 16.31% to Rs 188.94 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 225.75 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016. Sales rose 6.86% to Rs 1513.46 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 1416.32 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016.

For the full year,net profit rose 48.08% to Rs 1001.60 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 676.40 crore during the previous year ended March 2016. Sales rose 2.04% to Rs 5728.29 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 5613.96 crore during the previous year ended March 2016.
