Vedanta Ltd Surges 3.75%, S&P BSE Metal index Gains 2.41%

Vedanta Ltd has added 32.27% over last one month compared to 15.99% gain in S&P BSE Metal index and 16.67% rise in the SENSEX

Vedanta Ltd gained 3.75% today to trade at Rs 83. The S&P BSE Metal index is up 2.41% to quote at 6340.34. The index is up 15.99 % over last one month. Among the other constituents of the index, Jindal Steel & Power Ltd increased 3.45% and JSW Steel Ltd added 2.84% on the day. The S&P BSE Metal index went down 43.67 % over last one year compared to the 16.6% fall in benchmark SENSEX.

Vedanta Ltd has added 32.27% over last one month compared to 15.99% gain in S&P BSE Metal index and 16.67% rise in the SENSEX. On the BSE, 1.01 lakh shares were traded in the counter so far compared with average daily volumes of 15.77 lakh shares in the past one month. The stock hit a record high of Rs 179.95 on 27 Jun 2019. The stock hit a 52-week low of Rs 60.3 on 30 Mar 2020.
