CRISIL clocked volume of 3.57 lakh shares by 13:32 IST on BSE, a 193.21-times surge over two-week average daily volume of 2,000 shares. The stock rose 2.91% at Rs 1,843.10.
Mahindra Ugine Steel Company notched up volume of 1.88 lakh shares, a 13.62-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 14,000 shares. The stock rose 2.8% at Rs 422.85 after net profit jumped 136.06% to Rs 8.64 crore on 2.39% decline in total income from operations to Rs 177.92 crore in Q1 June 2014 over Q1 June 2013. The Q1 result was announced during market hours today, 5 August 2014.
Marico saw volume of 3.91 lakh shares, a 13.11-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 30,000 shares. The stock spurted 5.14% at Rs 269.80.
Pidilte Industries clocked volume of 3.22 lakh shares, a 12.11-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 27,000 shares. The stock fell 1.13% at Rs 369.
SRF saw volume of 1.72 lakh shares, a 10.59-fold rise over two-week average daily volume of 16,000 shares. The stock surged 12.23% at Rs 657 after net profit surged 127% to Rs 99.47 crore on 14.3% rise in net sales to Rs 936.25 crore in Q1 June 2014 over Q1 June 2013. The Q1 result was announced after market hours on Monday, 4 August 2014.
